Star on the Rise

If you need to get ahold of this guy, he’s probably on a stage or dreaming about the stage. I’m always struck by the whole-hearted way he inhabits a role. The Pikes Peak Arts Council shares my feelings — earlier this year, they handed him the award for outstanding performance by an actor for his portrayal of Silvio in TheatreWorks’ “Servant of Two Masters.” In October, he creeped out audiences and ingested a lot of fake blood as Renfield in the Fine Arts Center’s “Dracula.” And there were also those times he worked on Theatre ‘d Art productions — directing “A Clockwork Orange” and starring in “Rhinoceros.”
